Refund And Cancellation Policy

Version: 1.0 Effective date: August 3, 2026 Last updated: August 2, 2026

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to paid Athina AD access and Pay-As-You-Go minute purchases supplied by OMAC (FZE) and purchased through Paddle. It forms part of the Terms of Use.

1. Paddle's Role

Paddle is the authorised reseller and merchant of record for purchases made through Paddle Checkout. Paddle processes payments, applicable transaction taxes, receipts, subscription cancellations, and refunds under the Paddle Buyer Terms, Paddle Refund Policy, the purchase terms accepted at checkout, and applicable law.

OMAC (FZE) provides and supports Athina AD. We may investigate a product problem and may ask Paddle to issue an appropriate full or partial refund. Paddle, not OMAC (FZE), returns money for a Paddle transaction. We will not make a separate direct repayment for a Paddle transaction.

Nothing in this Policy limits a mandatory consumer right. If applicable law or Paddle's terms provide greater rights, those greater rights apply.

2. Cancelling A Basic Or Content Creator Subscription

Basic and Content Creator subscriptions renew for successive 30-day periods unless cancelled.

You may cancel at any time through the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or billing page, through https://paddle.net, or by contacting info@athinaad.com for assistance.

Cancellation stops the next renewal. Unless a refund or another remedy is granted, you retain the paid plan until the end of the 30-day period already paid for and then revert to the Free plan. Cancellation by itself does not provide a prorated refund for unused days, minutes, or features.

3. USD 1 Promotional Access

The USD 1 promotional purchase provides 30 consecutive days of access beginning on the purchase date. It does not automatically renew or convert into a Basic, Content Creator, or other paid plan. At the end of the 30-day period, the account reverts to the Free plan unless the customer separately chooses and purchases another plan.

Because the promotion is non-renewing, no cancellation is required to prevent another promotional charge.

4. Pay-As-You-Go Purchases

Pay-As-You-Go purchases add processing minutes to the customer's account and are not subscriptions. Purchased Pay-As-You-Go minutes do not expire. Usage is measured from the duration of each submitted source video, and any partial minute is rounded up to the next whole minute.

Minutes already used are not refundable except where required by law or where they were incorrectly deducted because of a verified technical failure. Refunds concerning unused Pay-As-You-Go minutes are governed by Paddle's Refund Policy, applicable mandatory law, and any additional written remedy approved by OMAC (FZE) and processed by Paddle.

If Paddle issues a full or partial refund for a minute purchase, the corresponding refunded unused minutes may be removed from the account.

5. General Refund Rule

Except where required by applicable law, provided under Paddle's Refund Policy, or expressly approved as an additional remedy, purchases are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

A refund may be available when:

  • the purchased service was not delivered;
  • a persistent and material technical defect prevented access to the material features or benefits described at purchase;
  • the customer was charged more than once for the same purchase;
  • the amount charged differed from the amount accepted at checkout;
  • minutes were incorrectly deducted because of a verified technical failure; or
  • applicable law otherwise requires a refund, withdrawal right, replacement, correction, or other remedy.

For a service problem, OMAC (FZE) may first attempt to correct the problem, restore incorrectly deducted minutes, reprocess the affected request, or provide replacement access where that is an appropriate remedy. This does not limit a remedy required by law.

Paddle may also consider a discretionary refund request. Under Paddle's current Refund Policy, submitting a discretionary request within 14 days does not guarantee approval. Paddle may consider the reason for the request, product usage or consumption, fraud or abuse concerns, the applicable purchase terms, and mandatory law.

6. Mandatory Withdrawal And Consumer Rights

Customers in some countries have mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, replacement, or refund rights. These rights vary by location and may be affected when a customer expressly requests immediate access to digital services and starts using or benefiting from them.

Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

7. How To Request Help Or A Refund

If the problem concerns Athina AD's operation or delivery, contact info@athinaad.com first so that we can investigate it. Include the account email, Paddle transaction or receipt number, date and amount of the charge, a description of the problem, and any useful supporting evidence. Do not send full payment-card details.

A customer may also submit a cancellation or refund request directly through:

  • the View receipt or Manage subscription link in the Paddle transaction email;
  • the support link in the Paddle receipt or Athina AD billing page; or
  • https://paddle.net.

If OMAC (FZE) approves a refund, we will submit or initiate it through Paddle. Paddle may separately review the request under its own terms and applicable law.

8. Effect And Method Of A Refund

An approved refund will be processed by Paddle to the original payment method where possible. Processing and posting times may depend on Paddle, the payment method, the card issuer, and applicable law.

When a full refund is issued, access connected to the refunded purchase may end and the corresponding paid entitlement or unused minutes may be removed. If a partial refund is considered, the customer will be told before approval what paid access or unused minutes, if any, will be adjusted. There is no automatic per-minute cash-refund formula for a subscription because subscription prices also include plan features. Mandatory law or Paddle's terms may require a different result.

9. Chargebacks And Unauthorized Payments

If you do not recognize a charge, contact Paddle or your card issuer promptly. We encourage you to contact Paddle before beginning a chargeback when appropriate because Paddle controls the transaction record and may resolve the matter more quickly.

We may temporarily restrict the paid entitlement connected to a disputed charge while Paddle, the payment provider, or the card issuer investigates suspected fraud or abuse. This does not limit any lawful payment-dispute or consumer-protection right.

10. Changes To This Policy

The version of this Policy presented and accepted in connection with a purchase governs that purchase unless mandatory law requires otherwise. We may update this Policy prospectively. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
